Systems Engineer - Hybrid

• Provide O&M support for appl​ications in a production AWS Cloud environment.
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues swiftly to minimize disruptions.
  
• Monitor production applications and databases to ensure consistent and optimal performance.
  
• Analyze recurring issues a​nd implement effective long -term solutions.
  
• Participate in 24/7/365 O&M operations, including weekends, nights, and holidays as needed.
  
• Use ticketing systems such as ServiceNow and JIRA to track and resolve issues.
  
  

Requirements

• Work Schedule: Hybrid – 2 days a week onsite in Ashburn, VA (Candidate must reside in the DMV area)
  
• Clearance: DoS Top Secret or DHS Full -BI
  
• Education: BS/BA degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 6+ years of experience. (4 years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree)
  
• U.S. Citizenship required.
  
• Must be able to maintain and obtain a CBP Background Investigation prior to the start.
  
• Proven experience supporting applications in AWS Cloud environments.
  
• Strong troubleshooting and monitoring skills for production applications and databases.
  
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve recurring issues.
  
• Familiarity with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow and JIRA.
  

• Expertise in monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, Kibana, and Grafana.
  
• Experience configuring hardware devices and supporting Linux and Windows scripting.
  
• Proficiency in software installation and familiarity with the Agile/Scrum methodology.
