This is a role for senior engineers who want true ownership\u2014driving critical system decisions and delivering fab\u2011ready hardware that runs reliably at scale in the world\u2019s leading semiconductor fabs.\n\n## Role Summary\n\nThe Systems Engineer IV is a senior technical contributor responsible for end\u2011to\u2011end systems engineering ownership of complex semiconductor capital equipment subsystems. This role leads cross\u2011functional execution across mechanical, electrical, software, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and customer engineering teams to deliver reliable, high\u2011performance, and field\u2011ready systems.\n\nThe position plays a critical role in new product introduction (NPI), field issue resolution, and reliability improvement programs, translating customer and business requirements into robust system\u2011level solutions.\n\n## Key Responsibilities\n\n### Systems Ownership \u0026 Technical Leadership\n\n * Own system\u2011level requirements, architecture, and performance for assigned tool subsystems and assemblies.\n * Lead system integration, trade studies, and design reviews to ensure alignment with reliability, manufacturability, serviceability, and customer requirements.\n * Drive technical decision\u2011making across cross\u2011functional teams; influence without authority.\n\n\n\n### Reliability \u0026 Issue Resolution\n\n * Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for complex field and factory issues using data\u2011driven methods (FA, DFMEA, FRACAS, Pareto, trend analysis).\n * Define and execute corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), including hardware, software, and process changes.\n * Own qualification and validation plans to ensure fixes meet performance, reliability, and customer acceptance criteria.\n\n\n\n### New Product Introduction (NPI) \u0026 Continuous Improvement\n\n * Support NPI programs from concept through qualification, release, and field ramp.\n * Drive continuous improvement initiatives (CIPs) focused on uptime, reliability, cost, and manufacturability.\n * Partner with manufacturing and supply chain to enable scalable production and smooth ramp.\n\n\n\n### Cross\u2011Functional \u0026 Customer Engagement\n\n * Serve as the technical interface between engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and customer engineering.\n * Present technical findings and recommendations to senior technical leadership and customers.\n * Support customer escalations and on\u2011site activities as required.\n\n\n\n## Required Qualifications\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s, Master\u2019s, or PhD in Systems, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related Engineering discipline.\n * 8+ years of experience in systems engineering, product development, or semiconductor capital equipment.\n * Strong background in complex electro\u2011mechanical systems and system integration.\n * Demonstrated experience leading root cause investigations and reliability improvements.\n * Proven ability to operate independently on ambiguous, high\u2011impact problems.\n\n\n\n## Preferred Qualifications\n\n * Experience with vacuum systems, robotics, motion control, or wafer\u2011handling subsystems.\n * Familiarity with DFMEA, PFMEA, qualification methodologies, and structured problem\u2011solving tools.\n * Experience supporting fab environments and customer\u2011facing escalations.\n * Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence technical stakeholders.\n\n\n\n## Qualifications\n\n### Education:\n\nBachelor\u0027s Degree\n\n### Skills\n\n### Certifications:\n\n### Languages:\n\n### Years of Experience:\n\n7 - 10 Years\n\n### Work Experience:\n\n## Additional Information\n\n### \n\n### Shift:\n\n10-Day 8-Hr (United States of America)\n\n### \n\n### Travel:\n\nYes, 20% of the Time\n\n### \n\n### Relocation Eligible:\n\nYes\n\n### Referral Payment Plan:\n\nEmployee Referral (Standard)\n\nU.S. Salary Range:\n\n$140,000.00 - $192,500.00\n\nThe salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members.
