The ideal candidate will have experience in systems engineering principles, including system integration, verification, validation, and supportability analyses. The team is focused on integrating development efforts across multiple services into a released product. The successful candidate will support system integration efforts, develop test plans and procedures, and perform software verification activities.\n\nKey Job Responsibilities:\n\n * Perform system integration, verification and validation, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for end-to-end systems.\n\n * Ensure logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into comprehensive test procedures.\n\n * Develop and execute test plans, procedures, and reports, including functional testing and checkout.\n\n * Analyze and troubleshoot anomalous behavior in software systems.\n\n * Utilize tools such as Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence), Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Word), and docker-based software installations.\n\n\n\n\nThis requisition may be filled at a higher job grade based on the qualifications listed below.\n\nThis requisition may be filled as either a Level 3 or a Level 4.\n\nBasic Qualifications for a Level 3:\n\n * Bachelor\u0027s degree in a STEM discipline and 5 years of relevant experience; 3 years of relevant experience with a Master\u0027s; 0 years of relevant experience with a PhD.\n\n * Must be capable of determining how best to integrate and test software changes in a complex system of services to include mapping requirements to test procedures.\n\n * Must understand Agile processes and scrum.\n\n * Must have an active Top Secret/SCI clearance with current Full-Scope Polygraph at time of application\n\n * Active/current CompTIA Security+ certification or equivalent 8570 certification\n\n\n\n\nBasic Qualifications for a Level 4:\n\n * Bachelor\u0027s degree in a STEM discipline and 8 years of relevant experience; 6 years of relevant experience with a Master\u0027s; 4 years of relevant experience with a PhD.\n\n * Understanding of Agile processes and scrum\n\n * Must be capable of determining how best to integrate and test software changes in a complex system of services to include mapping requirements to test procedures.\n\n * Must understand Agile processes and scrum.\n\n * Must have an active Top Secret/SCI clearance with current Full-Scope Polygraph at time of application\n\n * Active/current CompTIA Security+ certification or equivalent 8570 certification\n\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * Understanding of basic docker concepts\n\n * Proficient in Kubernetes: ability to debug services that run in cluster through command line and/or rancher\n\n * Experience with deploying services via Helm\n\n * Experience with deploying services via Helmfile\n\n * Proficient with using Git for source code management\n\n * Ability to debug and problem solve when things don\u2019t work out of the box\n\n * Experience working in a cross-functional agile team\n\n * Experience building and maintaining configuration management documentation\n\n * Experience with Factory Acceptance Testing\n\n * Key Skills for Writing Test Procedure Documentation\n\n * Good Customer interaction and presentation skills\n\n * Experience in automating manual test steps to improve test efficiency. \n\n\n\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $114,000.00 - $171,000.00\n\nSecondary Level Salary Range: $142,200.00 - $213,400.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.\n\nThe application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
