Our employees are not only part of history, they\u0027re making history.\n\nNorthrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Systems Engineer \u2013 Level 3 or 4 to support the Glide Phase Interceptor (GPI) program, specifically with platform integration.\n\nThis position is 100% on site in Chandler, AZ.\n\nJob Summary and Responsibilities:\n\n * Responsible for integration of Launch Vehicle system into Customer Platform\n\n * Coordinates with Cross Functional Team members consisting of GNC Engineers, Systems Engineers, and Design Disciplines for integration with Customer Platform\n\n * Interfaces with industry partners to identify gaps in existing solution and close on actions required\n\n * Identifies customer needs and works with internal NGC team to define and close action plans to resolve technical issues\n\n * Experience integrating launch vehicle systems to US Navy Systems\n\n\n\n\nBasic Qualifications:\n\nThis position may be offered at the Principal Level 3 or Sr. Principal Level 4.\n\nSystems Engineer Level 3 Requires\n\n * Requires BS in Engineering with a minimum of 5 years related experience or Masters Degree with 3 years of related experience\n\n\n\n\nSystems Engineer Systems Level 4 Requires\n\n * Requires BS in Engineering with a minimum of 8 years related experience or Masters Degree with 6 years of related experience\n\n\n\n\nCommon Basic Qualifications:\n\n * U.S. Citizenship is required\n\n * Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope\n\n * Strong oral and written communication skills\n\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * Active US DoD Secret security clearance, or higher.\n\n * Experience with Systems Engineering fundamentals is desired\n\n * Familiarity with the MDA organization and its methods of technical execution and review\n\n * Experience with multiple types of launch platforms\n\n * Experience with hypersonic weapons, and command and control technology\n\n * Experience with AEGIS weapon system\n\n * Willingness to work fast paced development programs\n\n * Ability to travel is required \n\n * Experience leading within and IPT organization as a lead or a SME\n\n\n\n\nCurious about all the exciting developments with the Northrop Grumman Space Sector? Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
