The Build IPT receives concept designs and performs hardware and software integration with a team of highly skilled implementers and testers. As the IPT Deputy, you will be responsible for scope, cost, and schedule management. You will interface with customers, product leads, and program managers to deliver the product to multiple customers. This position is located in Aurora, CO.\n\nRoles and Responsibilities\n\n\u2022 Provide direct support to the Build IPT Lead, including task creation and tracking, removing blockers, and ensuring the team has all resources needed to perform its duties.\n\n\u2022 Evaluate and give feedback on system concept development across disciplines such as Systems Administration, Network Engineering, RF \u0026 Signals Engineering, Cyber Security Engineering, Integration, Test, and Deployment.\n\n\u2022 Review detailed design analyses from the Design IPT; may also involve test design.\n\n\u2022 Provide stakeholder feedback on Engineering Change Requests, Increment Planning Packages, and Discrepancy Review Boards as an IPT stakeholder for implementation.\n\n\u2022 Interpret requirements, diagrams, and Interface Control Documents (ICDs) to fully decompose work scope.\n\n\u2022 Determine task schedules and level of effort required to meet product and program goals.\n\n\u2022 Lead FAT and SAT events, ensuring all verification criteria are met and that Discrepancy Reports are captured when applicable.\n\n\u2022 Communicate technical capabilities and analyses to internal stakeholders and external customers.\n\n\u2022 Deliver weekly program status updates to the PMO, key stakeholders, and customer leadership.\n\n\u2022 Mentor and direct junior staff to meet program deadlines.\n\n\u2022 Support new project acquisition through Basis of Estimate development and proposal preparation.\n\nBasic Qualifications\n\n\u2022 12 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline; or 10 years of relevant experience with a Master\u2019s degree; or 8 years of relevant experience with a Ph.D.\n\n\u2022 Experience with Jira and Confluence.\n\n\u2022 Ability to communicate and present effectively to product and program management, technical managers, and customers.\n\n\u2022 Excellent technical writing and team building skills.\n\n\u2022 Working knowledge of systems engineering principles and processes.\n\n\u2022 Demonstrated ability to learn new concepts and approaches quickly.\n\n\u2022 Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility at time of application and willingness to submit to a polygraph.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\n\u2022 Active TS/SCI clearance.\n\n\u2022 Experience with Agile development.\n\n\u2022 Familiarity with communications infrastructure, data center, and antenna design.\n\n\u2022 Familiarity with CAM and EVMS.\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $177,000.00 - $265,600.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
