This position will be in Huntsville, AL.\n\nPosition Overview:\n\nThe Systems Engineering and Integration Team is seeking a Radar Electromagnetic Warfare Analyst \u2013 Level 2. The Radar Electromagnetic Warfare Analyst will support analysis and modeling activities focused on electromagnetic warfare applications for missile defense systems. The role includes conducting special studies, analyzing radar electromagnetic protection techniques, and contributing to the development and use of MATLAB-based simulation tools that model radar and electronic warfare interactions at the in-phase and quadrature (I/Q) signal level.\n\nThis position operates in a classified environment and supports engineering analysis used to evaluate system survivability and electromagnetic performance. This position is located full-time on-site at the Boeing Jetplex facility in Huntsville, AL. There is no opportunity for remote work with this position.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Support engineering studies related to electromagnetic warfare and radar electromagnetic protection.\n * Assist in the development and execution of MATLAB-based simulations that model radar signal behavior and electronic warfare effects.\n * Implement radar signal models in the time domain using in-phase and quadrature (I/Q) representations.\n * Support analysis of electronic attack (EA) and electronic protection (EP) concepts.\n * Assist with modeling of RF propagation effects and their impact on radar performance.\n * Perform data analysis, verification, and validation of simulation outputs.\n * Contribute to technical reports and engineering documentation describing analysis results.\n * Work with senior engineers and analysts to improve simulation models and analysis methods.\u200b\u200b\n\n\n\nThe selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and collaborative/teams comprised of all experience levels.\n\nBasic Qualifications (BQs):\n\n * Basic Qualifications for Engineer Systems \u2013 Level 2: Bachelor\u2019s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university and 2 years of related work experience, or a Master\u0027s Degree in a STEM discipline and 0-2 years of related work experience.\n * Ability to program in MATLAB.\n * Basic understanding of radar systems or radar signal processing fundamentals.\n * Familiarity with RF concepts and signal propagation.\n * Ability to work in a classified on-site environment.\n * Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% of the time to support business needs.\n * Applicants must have a current active in-scope DoD-issued Secret security clearance (or higher) at the time of application, which is required to start.\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * Coursework or project experience involving radar systems, RF engineering, or signal processing.\n * Exposure to electronic warfare concepts, including electronic attack and electronic protection.\n * Experience working with I/Q signal representations or time-domain signal modeling.\n * Familiarity with Simulink, Python, or C/C++.\n * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.\n * Effective written and verbal communication skills.\u200b\u200b\n\n\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $87,600.00 - $131,400.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.\n\nThe application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
