Systems Hardware/Software Integration Engineer - Level 3 or 4

Perform system integration, verification and validation, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for end-to-end systems. Ensure logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into comprehensive test procedures. Develop and execute test plans, procedures, and reports, including functional testing and checkout. Analyze and troubleshoot anomalous behavior in software systems. Determine how best to integrate and test software to hardware interfaces in a complex system of services Utilize tools such as Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence), Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Word), and docker-based software installations. Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant experience; 3 years of relevant experience with a Master's; 0 years of relevant experience with a PhD. Experience building and maintaining configuration management documentation for configuration files Experience in HW command protocols (SNMP, GEMS, other) Bachelor's degree and 8 years of relevant experience; 6 years of relevant experience with a Master's; 4 years of relevant experience with a PhD. Understanding of Agile processes and scrum Must have an active Top Secret/SCI clearance with current Full-Scope Polygraph at time of application Familiarity working in a Linux environment Basic understanding of Java Experience building and maintaining configuration management documentation for configuration files Experience in HW/SW integration Experience in HW command protocols (SNMP, GEMS, other) Understanding of basic docker concepts Proficient in Kubernetes: ability to debug services that run in cluster through command line and/or rancher Experience with deploying services via Helm Experience with deploying services via Helmfile Proficient with using Git for source code management Ability to debug and problem solve when things don't work out of the box
