Job Description - Systems Integration Engineer

Hoplite Solutions is seeking a Systems Integration Engineer who will actively manage enterprise computer systems and networks, analyzing technical issues, and developing and implementing corrective actions.

Observe and interpret visual outputs indicating the operating status of systems and network components for designated computer network infrastructure.

Translate user requests into technical diagnoses, then apply diagnoses to develop technical solutions to meet user needs.

Develop strategies to migrate existing customers to new architecture/technology with minimal impact.

Evaluate new technologies or equipment that can be added to Agency standard solutions.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree plus 5-years of relevant experience, or Master's degree plus 3-years of relevant experience or an Associate's degree plus 7-years of relevant experience or high school diploma/GED plus 9-years of relevant experience may be considered.
Degree must be in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology or related field.
Must have an IAT-I certification, such as Security+ CE,
Relevant experience must be in computer or information systems design/development, programming, information/cyber/network security, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, computer forensics, information assurance and/or systems engineering. Additionally, must have experience in network or system administration.
Strong Linux experience
Experience in systems/network administration, application administration, and/or information technology support or management.
Experience supporting hardware installation, such as servers and network infrastructure.
Experience setting up storage such as network‐attached storage.
Experience implementing security best practices to include PKI certificate generation, deployment and maintenance.
Knowledge of Unix shell scripting languages like Bash, Bourne, or C
TS/SCI clearance with polygraph

Desirable Skills:

Experience deploying and maintaining nginx
Familiarity with Docker and RedHat Satellite
Familiarity with cloud computing environments like AWS
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) products like Terraform, SALT and Ansible as well as system monitoring platforms like Prometheus and Grafana
Experience with SELinux and FIPS
