Systems Integration Senior Specialist

Manage and maintain the entire IBM BigFix infrastructure, including servers, relays, and clients across Windows and Linux environments. Design, develop, and deploy automation scripts (e.g., PowerShell, Shell scripting, Python) and custom Fixlers to streamline patch management and software distribution. Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCA) for complex patching, deployment, or agent-related issues. Implement and manage security policies and configurations across all managed endpoints. Coordinate and execute regular vulnerability assessments and scans of the IT infrastructure. Analyze vulnerability data from Qualys scans, prioritize remediation efforts based on risk, and generate detailed reports for management and compliance audits. Collaborate with the Security team to align Qualys detections with available patches and remediation actions within BigFix. Ensure all processes and systems comply with enterprise security protocols and regulatory requirements (e.g., PCI, HIPAA). Experience: 7+ years of experience in endpoint management and vulnerability management, with a strong focus on IBM BigFix and Qualys. Technical Skills: Expert proficiency in IBM BigFix/Endpoint Management platform operations, architecture, and advanced relevance language scripting. Strong working knowledge of the Qualys vulnerability management suite (VMDR). Expertise in Windows/Linux/Unix operating systems and command-line interfaces. Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Shell scripting) for automation. Familiarity with networking concepts, security best practices, and ITIL processes. Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on advanced troubleshooting and RCA. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and report to stakeholders. Attention to detail and the ability to manage complex, large-scale IT environments. Education/Certifications (Preferred): Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications such as IBM Certified Deployment Professional - BigFix, Qualys certifications, CompTIA Security+, or ITIL.
