JOB SUMMARY: Supervise the operations of pit area on an assigned shift, placing special emphasis on guest service, security of the casino assets and positive Team Member motivation and coaching. Implement and ensure compliance with approved procedures, trains, supervises, and monitors performance of Team Members to ensure smooth and efficient gaming during shift. Serve as Pit Manager in the absence of Pit Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required skills and knowledge:

• High school diploma or GED certificate
• 2 years Table Games of dealing experience
• 2 years of Table Games of supervisory experience
• Knowledge of all Table Games that are offered at the Nisqually Red Wind Casino, including Roulette and Craps
• The ability to pass auditions on all games offered at Nisqually Red Wind Casino
• Title 31 knowledge
• Ability to effectively communicate with supervisors and guests
• Basic math skills
• Pass NRWC pre-employment testing
• Ability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays
• Ability to obtain a Class III Gaming License

Preferred skills and knowledge:

• Multi-cultural experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to stand for assigned shift
• Manual and finger dexterity
• Ability to stoop which entails the use of the lower extremities and back muscles. Infrequently requires crouching
• Ability to tolerate a noisy, smoke-filled environment

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:

• Knowledge of departmental Guest Service Standards
• Knowledge of casino promotions
• Encourage mutual respect, dignity, and integrity with all Team Members by setting a positive example at all times
• Oversee games in progress, guests, and Team Members in assigned section
• Safeguard company assets located in assigned section
• Issue playing cards and dice, and reviews them for irregularities during shift
• Attend to any guest disputes arising within assigned section
• Enforce rules and regulations of Casino for table games
• Notify supervisor of any irregularities noted in guest play and of other transactions during shift
• Answer questions about game rules and casino policies
• Perform other duties as assigned
