POSITION OBJECTIVES: Ensure quality guest service through direct Management of Table Games Team Members. Guarantee compliance of gaming regulations, policies and procedures during assigned shifts.

JOB SUMMARY: The Table Games Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of Table Games department including staffing, scheduling, and budgeting. Also, ensuring that the Casino is in compliance with Tribal-State Compacts and Appendix A Ordinances, and all Casino internal control policies and department procedures, while providing excellent guest service and maintaining a high level of game integrity.


Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required skills and knowledge:

  •   High school diploma or GED certificate
  •   Management courses through an accredited university, community college or in-house training course
  •   5 years of Table Games management work experience
  •   10 years of supervisory experience in a casino table games department
  •   Knowledge of all table games, internal controls and standard operating procedures of the Nisqually Red Wind Casino
  •   Knowledge of Title 31
  •   Basic math skills
  •   Pass NRWC pre-employment testing
  •   Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written
  •   Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites.
  •   Ability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays.
  •   Ability to obtain a Class III Gaming License.

Preferred skills and knowledge:

  •  Certification in Red Wind’s “Service First “Program
  •  Multi-Cultural experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  •   Ability to stand or sit for assigned shift
  •   Manual and finger dexterity
  •   Ability to tolerate a noisy, smoke-filled, fast-paced environment

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:

  •   Knowledge of departmental Guest Service Standards
  •   Knowledge of casino promotions
  •   Monitor game integrity and security, addressing any issues that arise
  •   Safeguard company assets located within the Casino
  •   Develop and Implement strategies to enhance Guest satisfaction and increase revenue
  •   Address and resolve any disputes or issues that arise within the Table Games Department
  •   Enforce rules and regulations of the Tribal Gaming Commission
  •   Responsible for creating weekly Team Member schedules
  •   Assign daily road maps for Dealers and Supervisors
  •   Handle administrative tasks such as budgeting, reporting, and inventory management
  •   Distributes gaming equipment to respective supervisors and gaming stations
  •   Handle guest and Team Member relations
  •   Advise and brief Gaming Director on day-to-day operations
  •   Perform other duties as assigned
