Job Description - Tack Welder/Helper

Lloyd Richards Personnel is hiring a Tack Welder / Helper for full-time, long-term work in a manufacturing environment.

This position assists welders and fabricators with tacking, material preparation, and general shop support. Candidates must be reliable, safety-focused, and able to work in a fast-paced production setting.

Responsibilities:

Assist welders with tack welding and weld preparation
Grind, clean, and prep materials
Move materials and parts throughout the shop
Perform general shop labor and cleanup as needed
Follow safety procedures and shop standards

Requirements:

Prior manufacturing or shop experience preferred
Ability to perform basic tack welding
Ability to read a tape measure
Ability to stand, lift, and work on your feet
Reliable transportation and attendance

Schedule & Pay:

Full-time
Day shift (5:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
Weekly pay
$18.00/hour
