Job Summary

Supports the C3I Directorate in DoD CIO Tactical Communications as the Tactical Radio and DoD Communications Waveform Subject Matter Expert. Expected to understand the DoD acquisition process and maintain situational awareness of the DoD Programs of Records In accordance with DoDI 5000.02, Operation of the Adaptive Acquisition Framework and DoDI 5000.82, Acquisition of Information Technology. Must have excellent writing and speaking skills to participate in senior leader governance and decision forums. Knowledge of the Programming, Planning and Budgeting Execution System (PPBES) is mandatory. Expected to understand the DoD's Program Objective Memorandum (POM) process to track resourcing against validated tactical radio requirements.

Telework is not supported.

Responsibilities and Duties

Candidate will be familiar with DoD Waveform Management processes as per DoDI 4630.09, Communications Waveform Management and Standardization. Serve as the DCIO C3 focal point for scheduling and organizing the three/four-star level Command, Control, and Communications Leadership Board (C3LB) and awareness of the subordinates Senior Steering Working groups. Plan, schedule, and execute O6/GS-15 forums as required.
