Overview:

The Operations Coordinator will serve as the point of contact for both Born Primitive Tactical and Born Primitive Outdoor (BPT & BPO). This role will be responsible for assisting the Operations Directors for BPT & BPO in various aspects of the operations of both departments. Some travel may be required and will be discussed with you during the interview process.

Essential Job Functions:

• Serve as the point of contact for trade shows, ensuring smooth logistics and representation of the company's brand.

• Track purchase orders and production invoices related to outdoor apparel, ensuring timely delivery and accurate inventory management.

• Coordinate on inventory health, optimizing stock levels and minimizing overstock or stockouts.

• Utilize Asana for task tracking, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.

• Assist in managing the marketing calendar, including coordinating sales events and gathering user-generated content (UGC) from ambassadors.

• Track the product development process, including lab dips, swatches, and sample arrival dates, collaborating closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

• Manage Shopify collections, ensuring products are accurately categorized and showcased effectively.

• Utilize tools for merchandising optimization, enhancing the online shopping experience for customers.

• Assist in coordinating community and ambassador activities, fostering engagement and brand loyalty.

• Help coordinate the social media content calendar, ensuring a consistent and engaging presence across platforms.

• Act as company representative for all Outdoor/Tactical customer service inquiries

• Administer all Outdoor/Tactical proDeal programs

• May be required to supervise interns participating in the Outdoor/Tactical Skillbridge program

• Other duties as assigned by the Outdoor/Tactical Operations Directors
  
  

Required Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field

• Experience in operations coordination or similar roles, preferably within the apparel industry

• Organizational skills and attention to detail

• Communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficiency in project management tools such as Asana

• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, particularly Shopify preferred

• Passion for outdoor activities and tactical gear is strongly preferred

Physical Requirements:

Associates may occasionally climb stairs, bend, stoop, walk, lift up to 10 lbs, and crouch as needed. Rarely associates in this position may be asked to push/pull up to 50 lbs, work in extreme conditions (heat/cold), and/or travel.
