In order to achieve this state of success, this position will focus on supporting the overall recruitment process by handling administrative tasks, managing candidate records, coordinating interview schedules, and assisting with onboarding and New Employee Orientation. Further, this position may assist and develop a stronger understanding of the payroll process, including but not limited to relevant data entry and auditing, the administration of employee data changes in HRIS.
Specific Accountabilities
Maintaining and updating candidate databases.
Handling paperwork, such as processing background checks and verifying qualifications.
Drafting offer letters and rejection notices.
Preparing job postings and advertisements.
Ensuring all recruitment-related documents are accurate and up to date.
Scheduling and coordinating interviews with candidates.
Communicating with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
Providing candidates with information and support during the interview process.
Following up with candidates after interviews and informing them of the outcome.
Assisting with sourcing candidates.
Screening resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
Assisting with the onboarding process for new hires.
Tracking candidate statuses and progress within the recruitment pipeline.
May assist with creating and maintaining employee policy manuals.
Payroll-related tasks may include, but are not limited to the following:
Data entry in the HR Information System (currently Paylocity).
Running and analyzing pay-related reports, correcting or updating data as warranted.
Serving as a resource to both Managers and staff for payroll-related concerns.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Previous experience in an HR or recruiting office highly valued.
Proven strong communication and organization skills.
Proficiency in MS Office applications as well as familiarity with recruiting software, applicant tracking systems, and HRIS systems very helpful.
Requirements
Education/Experience
Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree preferred, or High School diploma with 3+ years relevant experience in a professional environment.
