In this role, you won’t just support hiring—you’ll drive it, from job postings and interviews through onboarding and orientation assistance.

What You’ll Do
As a key member of the Talent & Culture team, you will:
Own job postings and recruitment advertising across multiple roles for our Bar-S Foods plant in Altus, OK.
Screen, interview, and help select top talent for open positions
Manage and maintain the Applicant Tracking System with accuracy and urgency
Coordinate and administer pre‑employment requirements, including background checks, drug screens, and job‑simulation endurance testing
Assist with facilitation of New Hire Orientation, setting employees up for success from day one
Process and maintain employment documentation, including I‑9s and employment verifications
Enroll new hires into required systems and maintain employee security and access databases
Represent the organization at job fairs and local hiring events
Partner with the Human Capital team to support employee events and engagement initiatives
Serve as a knowledgeable resource on company policies, procedures, and workplace culture
Requirements
What Sets You Up for Success
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum of 2 years of Human Resources/Recruiting experience
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and process‑driven
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree
Direct hiring and recruiting experience
Bilingual in English and Spanish (reading, writing, and speaking)
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Office‑based role with frequent sitting, standing, and walking throughout the facility
Ability to stand for extended periods and assist with on‑site endurance testing
Regular interaction with employees across departments
