Talent Acquisition Specialist

Location: Syracuse, NY (with travel to Binghamton. 25% Travel Required)
Job Type: Full-Time | Monday-Friday 8a-4:30p or 8:30a-5pm | Office and Field Based|

Venture Forthe, Inc. is growing — and we’re hiring a Talent Acquisition Specialist to grow with us!

This is an exciting opportunity to support recruitment efforts across our expanding Binghamton and Syracuse regions. If you’re passionate about people, driven by purpose, and skilled at full-cycle recruiting, we want to meet you!

Responsibilities:

• Recruit, screen, and onboard Personal Care Aides
• Travel regularly between Binghamton and Syracuse locations to represent the company at job fairs, hiring events, and community outreach efforts
• Build and maintain candidate pipelines through outreach and referral programs
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with employment regulations
• Partner with supervisors on employee relations and performance matters
• Support return-to-work processes, trainings, and HR administrative tasks

 Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in Human Resources or related field
• OR
• 2+ years of recruitment or HR experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
• Experience with Microsoft Office and HRIS/payroll systems
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and private reliable transportation
• Willingness to travel between office locations and events

Requirements:

• Associate’s degree in HR or related field OR 2+ years in HR/recruiting
• Strong interpersonal, organizational & communication skills
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office & HRIS systems
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance & private reliable transportation
