Summary:

Under the direction of the Director of Human Resources, the Recruiter will be responsible for delivering the highest quality care to our staff and being a front-line face of the Human Resources Department for all recruiting needs. The Recruiter will provide consultancy services and solutions for the hospital, in the areas of recruitment, selection, applicant tracking system, and pre-employment interview recordkeeping.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, psychology, education, or related field preferred.
  • Must possess a minimum of 3 years’ experience in recruitment or an equivalent position.

Job Responsibilities, including, but not limited to:

  1. Creates and maintains vacancy request. Ensures the vacancy list is posted on employment boards and meets all CBA Requirements. Provides high level sourcing of talented and diverse candidates by networking in the community and utilizing creative recruiting strategies to attract top talent. Assists in managing all aspects of the applicant tracking system; including training hiring managers, coordinating access, running reports and maintaining compliance.
  2. Coordinate the hiring process by effectively screening and interviewing candidates to meet client need; review job descriptions to ensure appropriate information included for advertising, internet postings and targeted job boards; negotiation and communication of offer to successful candidates.
  3. Compile, complete and report data regarding recruiting metrics: (IE: time to fill, turnover, etc.). Coordinate and attend community events and job fairs with a high ROI. Utilize current marketing practices to attract and retain talent (IE: Email campaigns, event flyers, etc.).
  4. Ensure positive applicant experience by conducting professional interviews, timely applicant follow –ups throughout the hiring process. Initiates 30 and 60 day follow-ups with new hires.
  5. Ensures hospital compliance with all applicable federal, state and local employment laws and regulations, such as, FLSA, Civil Rights Acts, ADA, FMLA, HIPAA, Sexual Harassment, etc.
  6.  Performs other related duties as assigned.
