Summary/Objective: The Talent Acquisition Specialist will provide full life-cycle recruiting, onboarding, provides administrative support to human resource functions as needed, to include record keeping, file maintenance, and ATS/ HRIS data entry. They also play a key role in Human resources processes.
Essential Functions:
- Qualify job requisitions, descriptions and recruitment strategies with hiring managers
- Post jobs in ATS, CareerBuilder, professional sites and social media (FB, Instagram, Twitter, etc.)
- Recruit on assigned requisitions (sourcing, screening, phone screens, and submission) to hiring managers through ATS
- Collaborate with marketing department on social media advertising initiatives (job fairs, virtual events, outreach, ACI Insider, etc.)
- Track and monitor short interest form candidates
- Build pipeline of new applicants through sourcing, cold calling, database searches, etc.
- Assist HR Director in establishing relationships with Trade/Vocational Schools, High Schools, Colleges and affiliated professional organizations
- Help perform data entry, process procedures, and other day to day human resources operations as needed
- Review applicants, conduct phone screens and schedule interviews
- Utilize ATS to submit and track applicants through the hiring process
- Ensure that all job postings and advertising lists that ACI is an AA/EEO Employer
- Coordinate, schedule and participate in candidate interviews and manage calendar (with all who are involved with interview process and reception)
- Communicate with candidates/applicants, hire/no hire decisions and update status/disposition in our ATS
- Conduct new hire orientation/onboarding
- Administer pre-employment screening, drug test, background checks, reference checks, etc.
- Verify I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files. Submits online investigation requests and assists with new-employee background checks
- Perform other job related duties as assigned
Supervisory Responsibility: No
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, and 2+ years recruiting experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience (preferably in a construction environment)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Must be able to multi-task, work with minimal supervision, follow written and oral instructions, show attention to detail and demonstrate problem-solving skills
- Must be able to pass post-offer pre-employment drug screen, and may be required to satisfactorily complete additional background checks as required (i.e. DMV, criminal history)
- Must adhere to all company policy and procedures
- Must be available to work assigned schedules and extended hours as needed including day, evening, weekend, and holiday hours
