Verve Talent & Literary Agency Verve is seeking an Assistant, enthusiastic about Talent representation, to support an agent in our Talent team with key business initiatives and administrative duties as needed. This is an opportunity to gain firsthand insights into deal negotiation, and benefit from mentorship by industry leaders. The ideal candidate must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment and have a desire to learn the business and pursue a career in talent representation. This role offers growth and development for outstanding performers.

Duties

· Interface with high-profile clients, managers, and executives with utmost professionalism

· Answer/roll a high volume of phone calls; Manage a high volume of email

· Coordinate meetings

· Prepare expense reports

· Have an understanding of accounting, including client paperwork, diligently pursue payments, and manage payment grids

· Send and track client submissions/materials

· Arrange travel

· Provide script coverage

· Effectively communicate and interact with employees at all levels 

Requirements

· Minimum of 1 year of full-time assistant experience at an agency/management company; Talent division preferred

· Strong interest in Talent representation

· Professional personal presentation is a must, as client interaction is common

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Outstanding time management and multi-tasking skills, strong follow-up

· Able to work well in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

· Must practice discretion at all times and safeguard confidential information 

· Ability to make sound decisions efficiently and effectively using practical approaches

· Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word

· Avid consumer of media
