Within Enterprise Controllership, the Talent Audit Department is responsible for providing support and analysis to third party auditors as a result of The Walt Disney Company’s contractual reporting obligations to our talent for all business units across the Enterprise.
Responsibilities
This position will be responsible for assisting the audit process as a result of The Walt Disney Company’s contractual reporting obligation to our talent. The position assists in the planning of audits, pulling of relevant audit support and facilitate of process of sending applicable legal letters to third party talent representatives.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Investigate, research and resolve potential issues impacting the contractual reporting obligation during the fieldwork of an audit engagement
Perform the responsibilities necessary in providing applicable legal letter to third party talent
Partner with various business units across the organization to expedite audit support
Respond to inquiries from both internal and external customers
Be an active team partner by identifying opportunities to streamline processes and suggest improvements
Basic Qualifications
Have analytical skills and the ability to adapt quickly in a fast paced environment
Must be detail oriented, able to work independently, and take ownership of their projects and work flow
Able to work in a flexible team environment and handle multiple assignments simultaneously
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written (must be able to tailor his/her communication style as the candidate will interface with team members of all levels)
Have organizational and project management skills
Entertainment industry experience a plus
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred

The hiring range for this position in California is $69,600.00 to $85,000.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
