Sigma, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Talent Marketing & HR Communications Lead to drive strategic talent marketing, employer value proposition (EVP) alignment, and HR communications initiatives for Land O'Lakes. This role is responsible for shaping and executing best-in-class candidate and employee marketing strategies across the full talent lifecycle while partnering closely with Corporate Communications, Digital Marketing, HR, and leadership teams.
The ideal candidate is a strategic marketing leader with strong digital, content, and employer branding expertise who thrives in ambiguity and can lead complex, cross-functional initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Talent Marketing & Leadership
Develop and execute the Talent Marketing (TM) strategy across candidate and employee lifecycle stages
Lead and mentor Talent Marketing Consultants to ensure best-in-class candidate marketing practices
Expand talent marketing capabilities across the full employee lifecycle
Partner with Corporate Communications to align content strategy, messaging, and publishing calendars
Collaborate with Corporate Digital Marketing to remain current on platforms, tools, and digital best practices
Provide input and leadership on vendor selection, management, and content production related to talent marketing and HR initiatives
HR Communications Content Development
Craft clear, compelling messaging for HR initiatives including policy updates, program launches, and employee resources
Maintain and update static HR content such as Front Door pages, FAQs, and employee guides
Create original written and graphic content for diverse audiences, including copywriting and light design support
Serve as the primary liaison between HR and Corporate Communications to ensure cohesive messaging and editorial alignment
Develop and integrate digital communications strategies aligned with company business objectives and departmental priorities
EVP & Messaging Alignment
Own, evolve, and operationalize the Employer Value Proposition (EVP) across all HR and talent communications
Develop thematic messaging that connects HR initiatives to organizational culture, values, and employer brand
Partner with HR and leadership teams to embed EVP messaging into talent marketing and employee communications
Ensure the Land O'Lakes talent brand and reputation are strengthened through social media and digital channels
Monitor industry and company news and manage reputational issues in partnership with Corporate Communications
Support the development of talent communities and career site strategies in collaboration with Talent Acquisition and Communications teams
Budget Management & Talent Marketing Analytics
Develop dashboards and metrics to measure and communicate the impact of Talent Marketing initiatives
Draft proposals and secure stakeholder support for talent marketing investments
Partner with Portfolio Management to incorporate Talent Marketing metrics into ROI analyses
Review and analyze reports to assess performance and ROI, with emphasis on candidate marketing investments
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required
Minimum of 5 years of related experience in Communications, Digital Marketing, Talent Marketing, or similar fields
Experience in marketing, communications, talent experience, or customer-facing HR roles
Strong understanding of customer-centric and human-centered design principles
Experience managing digital execution, including day-to-day site maintenance and campaign-based initiatives
Knowledge of employment branding and employer value proposition development
Proven experience leading complex projects, managing risk, and driving high-quality results
Innovative mindset with the ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree
3+ years of experience in the talent experience or employer branding space
2+ years of experience managing social media communities
Digital site development and production experience
Process improvement experience
Data analytics and reporting experience
