Job Description - Talent Operations Specialist (Contract)

WORK HOURS: Monday – Friday 8am-5pm

****Note: This is a temporary full-time contract role covering a 3 month leave of absence****

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Under the direction of the Director, Talent Acquisition & Operations, the Talent Operations Specialist provides day-to-day support to the Talent Acquisition team by ensuring all talent focused initiatives are implemented and managed throughout the enterprise. This includes but not limited to the implementation and training of process improvement initiatives, system enhancements, launches of new programs, technology, and integrations.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

· Partner with Director, Talent Acquisition & Operations in managing TA tech stack (Workday, Phenom People, Equifax, Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.), serve as product expert, and primary contact for Talent Acquisition technology to include implementation, integration, and maintenance of all Talent Acquisition tools, services, and vendor partners.

· Drive continuous improvement activities to include but not limited to building a sharable tracking system to collect, log, and maintain issues and escalate as appropriate; Trouble shoot issues, monitor implementations, interface with VB IT and vendors

· Liaise with functional leaders inside and outside HR to gather feedback regarding optimization, process improvements, and special projects involving recruiting tech stack. Partner with Manager of Talent Operations on strategy development

· Serve as primary liaison and collaborate with vendors on system enhancements and customized system configurations. Work with Manager of Talent Operations on any enhancements and communicate to talent acquisition partners and leaders.

· Collaborate with Manager of Talent Operations and business process owners to ensure workflow continuity and adoption of all TA Tech stack

· Accountable for setting up monthly/quarterly/annual Business reviews with key vendors & stakeholders

· Evaluate the current use of talent processes and tools, monitor performance, adoption, and compliance by reviewing and analyzing data and metrics

· Partner with Technology, HR Technology, recruiters, and HR on recruiting optimization work to improve candidate/ employee experience and attract talent. Partner with the technology team and drive continuous improvements by effectively leveraging HRIS (Workday), LMS, and other technologies

· Act as liaison between Talent Operations, HRIS, HR, and Talent Acquisition to implement policy, process, or system changes and optimizations

· Build, maintain, and distribute Talent Acquisition data analytics designed to measure recruiting activity, including compliance reporting. Analyze and communicate key performance indicators/trends to impact TA results and strategic objectives, such as DE&I.

· Leverage data driven insights to identify operational weaknesses and help to improve or innovate talent programs and processes to keep them as effective and efficient as possible.

· Reduce risk and protect the organization by monitoring regulatory compliance and data integrity by auditing and distributing reports to Talent Acquisition partners and leaders.

· Provide appropriate training to TA team to ensure effective use of various recruiting technologies.

· Partner with HR Compliance and Legal teams to ensure adherence of HR processes to federal and state laws.

QUALIFICATIONS

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

· Knowledge and experience in configuration, management, and implementation of ATS, HCM, and/or CRM systems (Workday, Paycor, ADP, Phenom, Kronos preferred)

· Knowledge of process improvement methodologies such as continuous improvement, value stream mapping, lean six sigma, design thinking, and workflow mapping preferred

· Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Excel and Power Point required

· Skilled in building dashboards in Power BI preferred

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required

· Experience in full cycle recruitment, HRIS, and or Talent Operations required

· Experience collaborating with Human Resource functions (Benefits, Employee Relations, Payroll, etc.) required

· Demonstrated experience with ATS, HCM, and/or CRM systems required (Workday & Phenom preferred)

· Experience analyzing / reporting data and communicating to a wide range of audiences

· Experience in project management to include managing, tracking, and driving milestones required

· Experience with managing vendor relationships required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This job operates in a professional office environment. Largely a sedentary role with some filing requiring the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bending as necessary. This role is expected to be in office on a hybrid basis (1-2 times per month).
