Hiltz Propane Systems is family-owned and operated company, specializing in complete turnkey propane system design and installation services,
LPG system design, engineering, plant connection, fitting and maintenance services.
 

Responsible for Tank Purchases and Inventory Management.

o Work closely with the Sales team to determine tank needs and develop strategy to fill the needs.

o Track new tank opportunities through our inventory system to ensure leads are followed up and information is documented for use across channels.

o Assess the condition and compliance of used tanks to ensure viability of resale.

o Negotiate purchase prices based on current market conditions, market resale value, and consideration of removal expenses.

o Draft and execute purchase documents ensuring all necessary details are included and the interests of Hiltz are protected.

o Develop long-term sourcing strategies to help reduce tank costs and increase the quantity of used tank availability.

o Establish relationships with suppliers and brokers who can provide a marketable product at reasonable prices.

o Coordinate with the operations team for tank preparation and removal process including emptying of contents, depressurization, dismantle.

o Determine logistic needs and strategies for site access and execution of the removal and hauling of tanks.

o Ensure tank inventory system is constantly updated with correct and most recent information.

o Manage the tank inventory information and interface with Hiltz website to ensure up to date, accurate information is available as a resource for potential buyers.
