- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in C2 Ops Integration and BM while ensuring we close the gap between traditional DoD acquisition practices and commercial solutions.
- Support the TAP Lab's innovation mission by integrating emerging technologies, providing technical solutions for space C2 and BM initiatives, and maintaining the highest development standards.
- Conduct assessments of software solutions, test plans, and integration processes to ensure operational readiness and mission effectiveness.
- Lead or contribute to the development, refinement, and enforcement of program-level engineering policies, standards, and procedures specific to SDA enhancement and technology advancement.
- Collaborate with Program Managers, Contracting Officers, System Engineers, developers, and external stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met within schedule and budget constraints.
- Provide expert technical consultation to SSC leadership and program teams on acquisition strategies, system designs, cybersecurity best practices, supply chain security, and risk management related to SDA systems.
- Develop and coordinate acquisition documentation, including Acquisition Strategy Plans (ASPs), Statements of Work (SOWs), and cost and technical evaluations.
- Facilitate implementation of agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) to improve cross-functional team collaboration and program execution.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience in systems engineering, acquisition, or program management within the Department of Defense (DoD) community.
- Extensive knowledge of DoD acquisition frameworks, program management, and software/hardware development practices.
- Expertise in command-and-control systems, SDA technologies, and tactical/operational data analysis.
- Proficiency in collaboration and documentation tools, including Microsoft Office suite, Jira, and Confluence.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with a willingness to undergo a polygraph if required.
- Travel is 25%.

Target salary range: $180,000 - $220,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range and bonus potential for this position based on experience and other factors.
