Tax Analyst

Growth equals opportunity here at Crane! With that, we have an excellent opportunity for a Tax Analyst to join our Corporate Tax Team! This role will report to the Manager, State Taxes and is eligible for a flexible work arrangement.

Responsibilities include:

* Assist in preparing federal, state and local tax returns.* Gather, consolidate and reconcile state apportionment data.* Assist with the preparation of OneSource tax calendar.* Prepare federal, state and local quarterly estimated tax payments.* Assist with the administration and completion of domestic tax audits.* Support utilization of domestic/international elements of tax compliance software.* Perform various domestic federal and state tax projects as assigned.* Identify process improvements and propose ideas for streamlining processes and reporting procedures.* Establish and maintain relationships with various personnel at the Executive Office, including Accounting, Treasury, Legal, Human Resources and finance personnel at the business unit locations.

Qualifications and Competencies:

* Prior domestic tax experience preferred, but not required.* Bachelor's degree in accounting. Advanced degree and / or certified public accountant qualification desirable.* Proficient using Microsoft Office, tax and accounting software to accomplish tasks. Prior experience with OneSource and HFM preferred, but not required.* Solid and effective interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral).* Able to work alone and as part of a team. Expresses one's ideas and actively participates in group discussions.* Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).* Ability to prioritize tasks.* Highly organized self-starter.* Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills, both oral and written.* Crane Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
