Tax Clerk

Location:

The Tax Department at U-Haul International is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic person for a Tax Clerk opening! We are looking for serious-minded individuals who are confident in their abilities and can work independently. The Tax Clerk will be responsible for handling day-to-day general office duties as well as jumping in and assisting the Tax Accountants with completing various projects and work related to corporate taxes. Your capacity for learning will prove more determinant of success than your present level of experience.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support day-to-day functions of the Tax Department

• Copy, assemble, and mail tax forms

• Scan and file documents

• Answer phones and pay bills

• Sort and distribute mail for the Tax department

• Edit and maintain electronic database files

• Prepare tax forms, as assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

• Smart, fast, and effective learner

• Organized and detail oriented

• Strong work ethic

• Constructive, positive attitude

• Two years of work experience and/or two years of college coursework

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel

• Previous office or data manipulation experience is helpful
