Tax & Estate Planning Associate

Our client, a reputable law firm, is seeking a talented and experienced Tax & Estate Planning Associate to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to advance their career in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Position Requirements:
Experience:

4 to 8 years in tax and estate planning
Education:

LLM in tax-preferred; coursework in trusts and estates, estate and gift tax, income tax, and income tax of trusts and estates

Skills:
Basic estate planning: drafting revocable trusts, wills, advance health care directives, and powers of attorney
Advanced estate planning: drafting irrevocable trusts and tax planning
Probate and Trust Administration experience
T&E Litigation experience is a plus, including drafting petitions for instruction, modification of trusts, and termination of trusts
Licensing:

Admission to the California bar
Qualifications:

Excellent academic credentials

Compensation:
Salary:

$150,000 - $250,000 annually, commensurate with experience
Bonuses:
Origination Bonus Program: 15% of monthly amounts collected on originated matters
Production Bonus Program: Annual bonus of 5% of base salary if billable hours target is achieved, plus an additional bonus of 40% of billing rate for each billable hour above the target
