We are one of the largest locally owned certified public accounting firms in Central New York. Founded in 1956, the Firm serves the region from four conveniently located offices in Syracuse, Auburn, New Hartford, and Rome.

Our experienced staff, which consists of approximately 90 employees, is available to assist our clients in the traditional service areas of auditing, accounting and taxation as well as many areas of specialization, including pension administration, valuations, financial services, marketing consulting and information technology.

Over 75% of our client base is privately held businesses.

Job Details

Essential Functions:

Plan, supervise and review corporate, partnership and individual tax return engagements.
Identify and research complex tax issues and collaborate with team members to provide solutions.
Stay current on IRS Regulations and the impact on clients.
Provide timely performance feedback on projects.
Mentor and training of professional staff.
Generate, cultivate and manage business development opportunities.

You should know some of the following:

CPA license required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to manage multiple projects/task on a timely basis while monitoring time spent
Proficient knowledge of CCH Axcess Tax, CCH Engagement, Microsoft Office, QuickBooks is preferred.
