Job Description Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 based upon experience
Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Tax Manager to join our small but dynamic accounting firm in Bel Air, Maryland. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing tax compliance, reporting, and planning for our clients. You will work closely with clients to provide tax advisory services, implement tax strategies, and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the preparation and review of federal, state, and local tax returns.
Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities for clients.
Stay updated on current tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
Provide tax advisory services and support to clients on various tax issues.
Coordinate with clients and internal teams to gather necessary information and documents.
Conduct research on complex tax issues and prepare memorandums and other client deliverables.
Manage and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
Participate in client meetings and presentations.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree,

CPA, or Enrolled Agent preferred).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax management or a related role.
In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
