Tax Manager- Client Service

Copeland Buhl & Company PLLP is looking to add a Tax Manager to our firm. As a Manager you will be responsible for supervising staff to achieve project profitability, build teams, and develop individuals. The Manager provides strong management skills while ensuring the timely completion of projects. The Manager is also the main effort in ensuring that firm quality standards are adequately enforced, and deliverables adhere to firm policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure completion of complex business and individual tax returns in a variety of industries.
• Serve as main point of contact between internal tax compliance team and the client for any tax related inquiries.
• Implement tax planning and tax savings strategies.
• Communicate effectively with clients.
• Stay up to date on latest firm and industry trends.
• Work collaboratively in a team environment with all levels including partners.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• Either Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) required.
• Experience leading and managing multiple projects in various industries.
• Proven ability to meet firm standards for chargeable hours, productivity, and realization.
• Experience serving as a Sr. Accountant or in a similar role.
• CCH Axcess Suite and CCH ProSystem fx Engagement experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
