Tax Manager- Compliance Focus

Copeland Buhl & Company PLLP is looking to add a Manager to our firm. As a Manager you will be responsible for supervising staff to achieve project profitability, build teams, and develop individuals. The Manager executes technical skills at a high level. The Manager is also the main effort in ensuring that firm quality standards are adequately enforced, and deliverables adhere to firm policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review complex business and individual tax returns in a variety of industries.
• Share technical expertise to support the firm and clients.
• Implement tax planning and tax savings strategies.
• Stay up to date on latest firm and industry trends.
• Work collaboratively in a team environment with all levels including partners.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• Either Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) required.
• Experience managing multiple projects in various industries.
• Proven ability to meet firm standards for chargeable hours, productivity, and realization.
• Experience serving as a Sr. Accountant or in a similar role.
• ProSystems FX, CCH Axcess Tax, and CCH Engagement experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
