Tax Manager (cpa firm) - Hybrid - Exciting Challenge

Regional CPA firm seeking to add a Tax Manager to its staff.

Responsibilities:

· Assume full responsibility for directing multiple engagements

· Provide clients with Tax Compliance, Research, Consulting for corporate, partnership and individual returns

· Prepare, review, and manage staff deliverables including tax returns, extensions, tax planning calculations, and write-up work for all entity types (C-Corp, S-Corp, Partnership, multi-state, etc.)

· Assist with business development efforts, including but not limited to, meeting with prospective and existing clients, preparing fee quotes and proposals, and evaluating clients’ needs

· Assist with employee training for new hires and ongoing employee training and career guidance

· Engage in consulting with and completing special projects as requested by/for Management and Clients

· Research and report on trends and developments concerning complex domestic and international tax issues.

Qualifications

· CPA

· Candidates should have five to seven years experience in public accounting with a midsize or regional firm

· (2) years experience as a tax manager

· Experienced with Individual, Partnership, S-Corp, C-Corp and HNW taxation.

· Experience with Trusts & Estates taxation a plus
