Tax Manager (Hybrid)- CPA Required

Job Description:
We are seeking a Tax Manager with public accounting experience to lead our tax team. The Tax Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the tax compliance and reporting process, managing client relationships, and providing strategic tax planning and advisory services. The ideal candidate will have extensive tax knowledge, strong leadership skills, and a track record of delivering high-quality tax services.

This position is 3 days remote per week after 90 days.
Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee the tax compliance process for clients, including preparing and reviewing tax returns, extensions, and estimated tax payments
Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services to clients, including identifying tax-saving opportunities and ensuring compliance with tax regulations
Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional client service
Supervise and mentor a team of tax professionals, including providing guidance, training, and feedback to ensure high-quality work
Stay current on tax laws and regulations and communicate changes and updates to clients and team members
Assist with special tax projects and research as needed
Coordinate with other departments, such as accounting and finance, to ensure accurate and timely tax reporting
Review financial statements and other financial documents to identify tax issues and opportunities
$120,000 - $140,000 a year
