Tax Manager (Hybrid Remote)

This position allows for 3 days per week remote / work from home.
Salary: $120,000 - 150,000/year
As a Tax Manager, you will oversee all aspects of tax services, lead tax

planning initiatives, and ensure compliance with tax laws and

regulations.
Responsibilities

Manage and lead tax engagements, including tax planning, compliance, and consulting services.
Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize tax savings and minimize liabilities for clients.
Review complex tax issues, transactions, and returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Provide guidance and mentorship to tax staff, fostering professional development and growth.
Collaborate with clients to understand their business operations, goals, and challenges.
Stay updated on changes in tax laws, regulations, and accounting standards.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor on tax matters.
Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or other relevant certification required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting, with managerial or leadership responsibilities.
In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
Proficiency in tax software and MS Office suite.
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
