We are seeking a qualified Tax Manager

current or very recently having worked at a national public accounting firm and holds an active CPA , to work hybrid for an opportunity paying up to a competitive salary up to $155K base, based on experience. This position does require one or two trips to their office near Hamilton, NJ. The role demands an accomplished professional with comprehensive knowledge of GAAP, Tax Law, and Tax Compliance, adept at managing a variety of tax-related tasks within a supportive team setting.

Requirements of the Tax Manager:
● 7+ years of public accounting experience
● Bachelor’s degree in accounting
● Must hold a CPA license
● Superior interpersonal and client relationship skills
● Flexibility and adaptability to meet diverse client needs
● Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and other necessary software tools
● Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with professionalism
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong command of English
Responsibilities of the Tax Manager:
● Review complex tax returns, identifying potential risks and opportunities for additional services
● Respond to IRS and state tax notices
● Develop budgets for processing tax returns
● Conduct and document research on complex tax issues using available resources
● Prepare and review tax returns for C Corporations, S Corporations, Partnerships, Qualified Plans, International Tax, Estate and Gift Tax, and Individual tax cases
● Support the team as needed
