Tax Manager - REMOTE

Insight Global is seeking a Tax Manager to join a top global consulting firm. This individual will be a member on a small team dedicated to tax reporting and analysis, within the larger 30-member global tax team. The tax manager role will be responsible for U.S. income tax accounting (ASC 740), tax return compliance, and internal reporting projects. The tax manager will collaborate with additional tax teams, accounting teams, and external advisors on various operational and project-based work in both domestic and international taxes.

Day-to-day responsibilities may include:

* Review earnings and profits calculations for all subsidiaries, ensuring accuracy in international inclusions, and oversee the review process for U.S. consolidated 1120 and various federal forms - 8858, 8865, 5471, 1118.

* Assist in domestic and international tax projects, which may include enhancing tax dashboards, models, and database management.

* Manage the review of consolidated, unitary, and standalone state income tax returns, alongside the year-end income tax provisions for U.S. reporting entities.

* Participate in the development of consolidated year-end income tax provision workpapers, including the accuracy of financial statement footnotes.

This is an 18-month contract position that is fully remote in the U.S., working EST hours.

Compensation:

$30/hr to $60/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including geographic location, skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience

* 3-6 years of corporate tax experience

* Experience in tax accounting or tax compliance, with strong accounting knowledge and analytical skills

* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with Power Automate, Tableau Prep Builder and Tableau

* Knowledge of tax software, ideally CorpTax or Onesource

* Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance

* Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

* CPA and/or MST

* Experience with tax research software (e.g., BNA), HFM, and SAP

* Big 4 experience
