Tax Specialist (US)

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Senior Tax Specialist, you will be playing a key role within Fever's Tax practice working closely with the Tax Manager and the rest of the team, helping with the global tax compliance and tax strategy of the Group.
You will be expected to demonstrate ownership and proactivity in getting things done in the tax area of a global high-growth business.

The key responsibilities are as follows:

• Lead the pursuit of tax opportunities and tax optimization to drive the business forward


• Participate in the company's business model with a focus on transfer pricing and documentation policies


• Coordinate and review the indirect and direct tax compliance processes in all relevant jurisdictions


• Research and analyze specific indirect and direct taxation matters and provide tailored advice


• Identify risks and potential tax planning opportunities


• Collaborate with third-party service providers as required


• Work with the Finance & Accounting teams to ensure adequate knowledge and application of taxation laws


• Support all indirect and direct tax audits / inquiries from tax authorities (alongside third-party providers and local finance teams)


• Contribute to the improvements and the solutions of tax processes

ABOUT YOU
In order to be successful in this role, you will:

• At least +4 years of relevant experience in taxation gained in practice or industry, preferably working with US tax


• Bachelor or Master degree in Finance or Tax


• International experience is a plus


• Finance oriented


• Proven US tax knowledge and familiar to work with other jurisdictions


• Advanced Excel level 


• You are a detail-oriented and organised worker


• Be fluent in written and spoken English. Other languages are a plus
