About The Role:

Tax Supervisors at USX Advisors WA assist in preparing complex tax returns, first pass review of tax returns prepared by staff, and assist in training and development. At USXA, we believe in growing our team organically. Those in the Tax Supervisor position are groomed to move up into a manager role. They are provided with ample opportunities to grow and develop the skills they’ll need to manage their own clients and staff. As a Tax Supervisor you’re not just crunching numbers, you’ll be at the helm navigating through complex tax issues for a wide variety of clients and providing cutting edge tax strategies to assist our clients reach their financial goals.

Duties & Responsibilities: 

Demonstrate knowledge of industry trends, identify client issues and conflicts, and proactively communicate solution options to client and team.
Act as a resource for tax staff and colleagues
Analyze IRS notices and draft responses
Prepare complex tax returns, including those for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, and estates.
Understand clients’ goals and needs and service clients directly
Research tax issues and guide clients
Participate in business community engagement initiatives with an expectation of growth.

Qualifications for this position include:

CPA Designation
Bachelor’s Degree required
Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical and communications skills
4+ years of public accounting experience
Innovative/ Growth Mindset
