Job Description

As our Tax, Trusts & Estates Paralegal, you'll play an important role in supporting sophisticated estate planning, trust administration, and tax-related matters.

• Support attorneys with estate planning, trust administration, probate, and wealth transfer matters.
• Prepare probate filings, estate administration documents, trust documents, and client correspondence.
• Organize financial records, estate inventories, asset valuations, and fiduciary accountings.
• Assist with estate, gift, inheritance, and fiduciary income tax documentation, including Forms 706 and 709.
• Coordinate with clients, trustees, executors, accountants, financial advisors, and beneficiaries.
• Track important deadlines, maintain organized case files, and help ensure matters progress efficiently.
• Assist with business succession planning, charitable planning, and related estate transactions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Trusts & Estates or Tax Paralegal.
• Hands-on experience with estate and trust administration, probate procedures, and related legal filings.
• Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certificate.
• Experience organizing financial records and supporting estate or fiduciary tax matters is preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and collaborate with a legal team.
• Willingness to work occasional overtime as needed.
