Adventures teachers' position will consist of:

We are looking for:
- An enthusiastic, engaging and strong teacher for infants, toddlers or preschool aged children
- A teacher who can execute developmentally appropriate curriculum (art projects, activities, songs, etc.) with their class
- A flexible team player with strong communication skills
- Hold the appropriate Massachusetts EEC Teacher certification (or, get certified at our center)
- Physical ability to bend, stand, walk, and lift up to 35 pounds
- Value diversity and demonstrate respectfulness to differences in families, cultures and individuals
About Adventures Preschool Center
Adventures Preschool Children's Center is the oldest independent preschool in Belmont. We have been guiding and educating children in Middlesex County for over 38 years. In addition, we are accredited by the Better Business Bureau.
At Adventures Preschool, we strive to offer every child with the best early educational experience. We provide a sequential, developmentally appropriate curriculum to enhance children's independence, creativity, and development. Discovery areas in each classroom are designed to develop the cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth of each child.
Wide Variety of Activities
We offer a variety of activities for children to participate in. These activities include yoga, music, soccer, dance, and gymnastics classes. Throughout the year, the children also participate in several in-house and external field trips. In-house field trips provide the toddlers and preschoolers the ability to experience the outside world at Adventures Preschool. In-house field trips include: Tide Pool, from the New England Aquarium, Puddle Stompers, musicians, ponies, reptile and puppet shows, these are for all ages. Then we bring the preschoolers to experience the outside world off site. External field trips include: Drumlin Farms, apple picking, Franklin or Stone Zoo, Discovery Museum, and The Butterfly Place.
Certified Teachers You Can Trust
All educators at Adventures Preschool are teacher certified by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care. Many of our educators at our center have been with us for greater than 10 years. Each educator is also certified in CPR and First Aid.
Adventures Preschool Children's Center is the proud founder of Tri-community Early Childhood Educators, established in 1991 for Belmont, Waltham, Watertown, and other communities throughout Middlesex County. Tri-community, offers professional development for teachers and directors, which satisfies the Commonwealth of Massachusetts' requirements for educators. In addition, we offer parent workshops to all parents throughout Middlesex County at no additional cost. Through the American Heart Association, we offer on-site CPR and First Aid for both educators and parents.
