The ideal candidate is someone who:

• Can use forward thinking
• Can communicate effectively - both written and verbal
• Is passionate about teaching the children of Montana
• Prefers one-on-one time with students to implement individualized academic and behavioral interventions
• Is experienced in de-escalation techniques

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE;

• Required education and experience— Bachelor’s degree in education. Montana teacher certification required. Demonstrated proficiency with emotionally disturbed children.

CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE

• Credentials— Special education minor/endorsement required.
