Teacher Assistant or Classroom Assistant

Description

As a Teacher Assistant or Classroom Assistant for a Head Start Program, you will be responsible for supporting the lead teacher in providing a nurturing and educational environment for young children. Your duties will include assisting with classroom activities, supervising children, and providing basic care such as feeding and diapering. You will also work closely with parents and families to ensure that children are meeting developmental milestones. 

To be successful in this role, you should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should also have a passion for working with young children and a desire to make a positive impact on their lives.

Requirements

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Current CDA preferred

- Previous experience working with young children preferred

- Ability to pass a background check

- Must be reliable and punctual

- Ability to work well in a team environment
