Teacher, Math & Science, Elementary School (4th & 5th Grade)(EX)-St. Joan of Arc School, Aberdeen MD

St. Joan of Arc School, located in Aberdeen, MD, is seeking a full‑time, qualified Math and Science teacher. The Math and Science teacher will serve as a full‑time instructor for our 4th and 5th grade Catholic school. The teacher is responsible for planning and implementing standards‑based lessons as prescribed by the Archdiocese of Baltimore. This is a full‑time, benefit‑eligible, 10‑month teaching position.

Essential Functions

• Maintain high professional standards consistent with the Catholic mission of the school.


• Plan and deliver engaging daily lessons for elementary-age students. Monitor and evaluate student outcomes.


• Maintain a safe and orderly learning environment.


• Strive to meet the needs, interests, and abilities of every student.


• Integrate technology into the classroom.


• Communicate effectively with parents, responding to inquiries in an empathetic and timely manner.


• Collaborate with school administrators, teacher, parents, and community member in educating students.

Position Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or related field.


• Current or pending MSDE certification.


• Experience in a Catholic school preferred, but not required.

Range: $50,000 - $55,000 Annualized
