Job Description - Teacher Preschool

We are looking for teachers for our growing center. Experience is a plus but not a must. We will train the right candidate for the position. Must be able to pass a background check, TB test, CPR check.

Who We Are!

The Sitter, Inc. is a quality child care center and preschool in Virginia Beach. We use a faith-based philosophy, coupled with a strong educational focus.

We teach through the "Essentials Preschool Curriculum," with academic programs that center around:

Language arts
History
Social studies
Mathematics

Meet George & Phyllis Coleman

Phyllis and George have always loved working with children. Phyllis originally planned to go into social work, but then the child care opportunity pulled on her heart. Phyllis has been in childcare for nearly 30 years.

For 8 years she operated a family child care center from home. She and George have owned The Sitter, Inc. since 2005.

"I love my business because I look at it as a ministry, and I truly believe in taking care of the whole family, " she says. "We minister to the families as well as the children, because if the family is healthy, then the children will be healthy."
