About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher's Assistant/Aide to join our team at Mustard Seed Early Learning Academy in Gwynn Oak, MD. As a key member of our staff, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young children and contribute to their early education experience.

Responsibilities:

Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in a Large Family childcare home

Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to promote learning and development

Assist lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and daily activities

Supervise and engage with children during playtime, mealtime, naptime and outdoor activities

Help with meal and snack times, including feeding and clean-up

Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the childcare facility

Assist with diaper changing and potty training

Support classroom management and behavior guidance

Requirements:

Previous experience in caregiving, nannying or childcare preferred

High School graduate or higher

CPR & First Aid Training

45 hour infant/Toddler training

Medication Administration training

Prior experience working with young children preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic demeanor

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to pass background check and obtain necessary clearances
