Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and direction to a group of team members, aligning with the Production Manager’s and company’s production needs.
• Ensure safety rules are being followed at all times.
• Check products per company policy to ensure quality and uniform completion; resolve any identified problems.
• Train new employees on proper assembly techniques.
• Assemble machinery, fabricated metal products, electrical equipment, and more according to directions.
• Read blueprints, schematics, or similar documentation, then builds to those specifications.
• Use various machines and hand tools to accomplish assigned tasks.
• Maintain logs, records, and reports concerning production, machine maintenance, and product inconsistencies.
• Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
• This role will work Monday - Friday from 6:30am - 3:00pm.

Requirements

• General knowledge of production.
• Experience with small hand tools.
• Excellent hand eye coordination.
• Ability to differentiate between colored wires, tabs and electronic components.
• Ability to problem solve.
• Attention to detail.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

• Prolonged periods of standing (up to 8 hours) and performing repetitive tasks.
• Must have manual dexterity in order to assemble products as directed.
• Lifting up to 50lbs as needed and 25lbs regularly.
• Ability to reach overhead, bend, stand, stoop, and squat as needed.
• Wear required PPE.
