Job Description:

The Learning Experience is seeking a dedicated, experienced, and passionate Team Lead to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a love for working with children, and a deep understanding of early childhood development. As the Team Lead, you will oversee a team of childcare professionals, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children under your care.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, supervise, and support a team of childcare workers in day-to-day operations.

Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities that support children's physical, emotional, and cognitive development.

Ensure all safety regulations and licensing requirements are adhered to.

Create and maintain a positive and supportive atmosphere for both children and staff.

Provide guidance and mentorship to staff, including conducting performance reviews and offering constructive feedback.

Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child’s development and well-being.

Maintain accurate records of children’s activities, progress, and any incidents that may arise.

Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a smooth and cohesive operation.

Assist in staff training and development, ensuring all employees are up-to-date with current childcare practices and policies.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred).

5 years of experience in childcare (with 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role, preferred).

Knowledge of early childhood development and best practices in childcare.

First Aid and CPR certification (required).

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Ability to create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for children of all backgrounds.

Patience, flexibility, and a passion for working with children.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Background check clearance (required).

Compensation: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
