Team Lead

Duties: 

• Responsible for overseeing a team of production associates to ensure the safe, efficient and high quality manufacturing processes in the automotive plant. 
• Leading daily operations, driving performance metrics, ensuring adherence to standard operating produces and fostering a positive team culture aligned with organizational roles. 
• Lead and motivate a team of production associates to meet daily production targets. 
• Conduct team huddles, assigns tasks, and monitor performance and attendance. 
• Serve as a liaison between team members and management, escalating issues as necessary. 
• Oversee manufacturing processes on the shop floor to ensure efficiency and adherence to safety and quality standards. Monitor production schedules and adjust assignments to meet operational goals. 
• Assist with machine setup, changeovers, and troubleshooting minor equipment issues. 
• Ensure team adherence to all company safety policies, 5S, and OSHA requirements. 
• Report any safety concerns or incidents immediately and participate in investigations and corrective actions. 
• Support quality assurance by performing visual inspections and audits. Ensure nonconforming parts are identified, segregated, and reported per procedure. 
• Train new team members on processes, equipment, safety, and quality expectations. 
• Provide coaching and feedback to enhance performance and support skill development. 

Requirements: 

• Minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience in a Manufacturing environment, automotive industry experience highly preferred. 
• Prior Leadership or supervisory experience 
• Experience with RF Scanner
• Microsoft Office 

Shift: 5:45am to 2:30pm Monday through Friday
