Main Tasks
- Assisting in the setup, adjustment and operation of machinery to produce goods or parts according to specifications
- Supporting the acquisition of operation plans and carrying out the processing of manufacturing batches of bulk materials/ingredients, including mechanical processing as required
- Performing cleaning, servicing and routine maintenance on machines to ensure they remain in good working order
- Supporting the monitoring of machines during operation to ensure they are functioning properly and carrying out repairs as needed
- Identifying problems (causes) that occur with machines and supporting the optimization of processes for troubleshooting
- Administering operational processes and keeping accurate records of machine performance
Basic Function:
Must be able to run all jobs in department.
Essential Functions:
- Lead by example.
- Maintain housekeeping and safe well organized work area.
- Be able to work 15 minutes before shift and 15 minutes after shift.
- Must have good working relationship with Line supervisors and set up person.
Additional Functions:
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Responsibility and Authority as Related to Quality:
1. Ensure that quality standards are met.
2. Stop processes if quality or safety standards are not met.
3. Initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through designated channels.
Education, Experience, and Physical Requirements:
1. High School diploma or GED.
2. Demonstrate ability to perform essential functions.
3. Must be able to physically lift and maneuver weights in excess of fifty pounds.
4. Must complete the Workkeys Assessment if one has not been completed.
